This funeral home up north
It’s all rather cryptic isn’t it?

Has someone been savilling the stiffs?

Or have I missed something ?

What is the difference in having a granny fetish and necrophilia? A few weeks.

They've just got 35 bodies now - the number will relate to whatever's been going on for however long it's been going on.

Re: This funeral home up north
A guy in Southend conned people out of 1000's a few years back offering a similar cheap service. Turned out he didn't have a licence or facilities to keep the bodies stored. Packed some in ice when they went to the crematorium for their funeral.
Could well be him again as he was a serial fraudster/conman.

As mentioned earlier in the thread they are probably storing up the bodies for these direct cremations and it's got out of hand.
I attended a memorial service for an old mate a couple of years back, because his family had opted for a direct cremation they had to wait three months for the ashes to be returned.
Those ashes that were scattered at the memorial could well of been a miss mash of his and others as who would know.

They said they found 35 bodies but may need to contact over 1000 people. How? And why?

No ofence to anyone on here, but I've always thought keeping torched remains of humans in one's home quite odd and even a little creepy.

Wanting them back for some sort of ceremonial scattering fair enough. But keeping them in your possession and giving them sentimental value is not for me personally.

A whore house for necrophiliacs?

All of this faux grief from the relatives I find ridiculous. Yes, it's horrible what's happened but your loved one was dead.
You can see them thinking 'compo, compo, compo' behind those fake tears.

My mother, who I doubt will see this year out, is insisting on one of these cheap funerals (as described below), and I'll have one too when my time comes, and they can do want the fuck they like with my carcass, as i'll be dead.

When my mum's last husband died unexpectedly (she had 3), I arrived back at my family home as the funeral director was trying to up sell her coffins, handles, etc. I felt like head butting the cunt.

I didn't think it appropriate though, given the circumstances.

I suspect it has something to do with this, which is the cheapest service they provide: ( see below taken from their website)

The Maple
Our Maple Funeral Package

The Maple, is our simplest funeral package. This includes our into care service, a simple coffin for cremation, all administration and documentation for cremation, an unattended direct cremation at a crematorium (this may not be in the Hull area), and ashes available for collection (a simple ashes container is supplied).

Prices from just £970

You may choose for a local crematorium to be used at an additional cost. Please call 01482 562762 for further information

The important thing to note it is an unattended funeral. Maybe storing the bodies for a bulk lot at a dodgy crem. And returning mixed ashes to relatives? Or maybe because it implies they send the bodies to Crems that are not local they use cheaper Crems as when there is availability and they have had logistical problems?

A lot of burning questions unaswered
